Thomas J. Mims, Jr. received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City before earning his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University’s Shreveport School of Medicine. A surgical internship and neurosurgery residency were completed at the Sacramento Medical Center in Sacramento, California. In addition, he completed a neurosurgery residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Mims is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
