Kenneth Lee graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University. He then earned his medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine,
graduating with honors. Before starting residency, Dr. Lee was awarded a Stanley J. Sarnoff Fellowship at Columbia University for cardiovascular research.
He completed his general surgery internship and his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Lee then completed an
orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine fellowship at the University of California at Los Angeles Comprehensive Spine Center. He is licensed to practice
medicine and surgery in the
state of Texas and is board
certified by the American
Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Lee is actively involved in multiple research projects as this endeavor helps identify the best procedures and technologies to
assist his patients in returning to normal and productive lifestyles. He has presented research posters and papers at several national meetings on spinal surgery.
Dr. Lee has also written several articles for peer-reviewed publications. In addition, he has contributed book chapters for textbooks on spinal surgery and is
devoted to the application of new technology to optimize and improve outcomes in spinal surgery.
Dr. Lee’s professional memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Texas
Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Association and the Texas Orthopaedic Society.
