David Allen Cech received a B.S with highest distinction from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. He then earned his M.D. at the State University of New York in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Cech completed an internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, along with residencies in general surgery and neurosurgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Baylor, Texas. Dr. Cech is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is licensed to practice medicine in Texas.

Dr. Cech’s serves as a clinical assistant professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Neurosurgery. In addition, he participates in the Methodist Neurologic Institute. His hospital appointments include the Methodist Hospital and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital.

Dr. Cech is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Harris County Medical Society, the Houston Neurological Society, the Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Texas Medical Association.
